The new stage 1 curriculum: student perception of their preparedness for the clinical part of year two of the undergraduate course. A project aiming to determine the effect of the new stage I curriculum (implemented in 2009) on student preparedness for the clinical paper in the second year. 3 cohorts of 'old curriculum students' have completed questionnaires establishing their experiences. Two cohorts of students who have gone through the new curriculum have completed similar questionnaires relating to the new curriculum. It is anticipated a further cohort of 'new curriculum students' will complete the sample allowing comparison between experiences and potentially further adjustment to the curriculum.

Evaluation of the Living Well Programme - Facilitators Perspective. A project which investigated the training and support for facilitators of the Living Well Support and Education Programme run by the Cancer Society of New Zealand (CSNZ). Funded by the CSNZ, the project is now completed, and a final report has been submitted to the National Office of the CSNZ and the Multi-region Ethics Committee.

Evaluation of the Living Well Programme - The Client Perspective Continuation of the study described above, examining experiences of clients of the Living Well programme to establish if this is achieving its stated goals. Funded by the CSNZ, participant recruitment is almost completed. The study aims to complete by end of September 2011.
