Overview

This project will involve analysis of exome sequencing to identify genetic causes causing abnormally short or tall height in New Zealand children. There is the rewarding chance to provide families with answers for this growth anomaly, and the exciting possibility of discovering new genes important for growth!

This project will mainly be computer-based, but depending on the length of the qualification being studied, there is an opportunity to investigate some mutations further using cell models.
