The first Otago Medical School Medical Education Research Symposium was held in Dunedin on Wednesday 6 June, attended by Otago staff and students from the three main centres. Its focus on sharing research allowed the symposium to highlight the diversity of medical education research undertaken at OMS, and provide a space to share research findings and ideas with each other as a School.
The Symposium's opening speaker Roshit Bothara, of UOC, provided a student's perspective of medical education research.
The OMS symposium was organised by Kelby Smith-Han, Medical Education Research Academic Lead in association with the Medical Education Research and Evaluation Sub-Committee (MEREC).
