John Armstrong, a PhD candidate studying history at the University of Waikato is currently in the early stages of researching his thesis, which aims to investigate the migration of New Zealand doctors overseas (primarily to Britain) for the purposes of gaining specialist postgraduate experience and qualifications between the years 1945 and 1985 (approximately).
