Otago Medical School administration
The medical programme is managed by the Otago Medical School office in Dunedin, based in the Sayers Building. This includes scholarships, curriculum development, assessment, IT (including Moodle) and other overarching administrative activities for current students.
Otago's medical course is an undergraduate degree which may be undertaken by both undergraduate and postgraduate students, subject to admission. Prospective medical students should contact the Health Sciences Admissions Office for comprehensive information on the admissions requirements for studying medicine at Otago.
Graduates who wish to study medicine should refer to information for Prospective medical students.
Medical graduates who wish to undertake postgraduate studies should refer to the Postgraduate / vocational training section of this website. This includes postgraduate courses available only to MB ChB graduates, information about OMS postgraduate study, and vocational pathways.
The Otago Medical School values information on our medical students provided by patients, families, whanau and members of the public, hospital staff, and university staff and students who are not directly involved in student education. If you wish to raise an issue of concerning or meritorious actions you have observed in our medical students, please download and complete one of the Professional Behaviour reporting forms and forward to the identified contact address.
