The Otago MB ChB curriculum map indicates to students and staff the key elements of learning within the MB ChB, demonstrating how they are organised, structured and related/linked to each other.
It links these elements to opportunities in the curriculum where students are likely to encounter them and to resources to help them learn, providing a framework for access to the more detailed course information available on the student learning system, Moodle.
The map is organised around Core Presentations, Conditions and Professional Activities, and outcomes across a set of domains: Clinical Skills, Diagnostics and Therapeutics; Professional Practice; Hauora Māori; Pacific Health; Population Health and Epidemiology; Science, Research and Scholarship.
The Curriculum Map will always be dynamic and is still evolving. Students should note that important course information is provided directly by conveners and administrators responsible for each part of the course.
We value feedback and comments about content, structure and technology. Please use the feedback button on the top right of the Curriculum Map web page to let us know what you think.
