Community research

Community research is vital to ensure that research evidence has local relevance and can lead to translational outcomes.

Researchers at the NCLR are involved in a long-term research programme with Māori community research partner - Te Kōpae Piripono (through its governance body, Te Pou Tiringa).

The research examines the transformative power that quality kaupapa Māori early life and whānau programming has on health, social wellbeing and education over the lifecourse.
