A pain in the leg: Living with peripheral artery disease - An Integrated Context Lecture

For the last year Mrs Adams has been experiencing cramps in her legs because some of her arteries are becoming blocked (a condition called peripheral artery disease). This lecture will discuss some of the impact this has on Mrs Adams’ life, how this disease occurs and how we can use ultrasound to assess it.

We will also consider how the HIV experience influenced trial treatments for COVID-19.
