Current statistics highlight that, as a nation, we have a serious problem when it comes to family violence. While there’s no easy solution, together, we can do our part to stop violence against girls and women.
Parents and carers can play a significant role in supporting the prevention of violence against girls and women by having ongoing conversations about respect with their children. However, preventing violence not an easy topic to discuss with children.
By attending this session with family wellbeing expert Dr Rosina McAlpine, parents and carers will increase their knowledge, skills and confidence to have ongoing conversations with their children around preventing and responding to domestic and family violence.
