The Faculty of Law, University of Otago, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade invites you to the MFAT Beeby Exchange on International Law Dunedin: International/transnational legal issues relating to the Pacific.
The event brings together lawyers with an interest in international law to discuss topical international/transnational legal issues relating to the Pacific.
Chris Beeby was a New Zealand diplomat and international jurist, with a life-long interest in the development and implementation of international law. The annual Beeby Exchange honours Chris Beeby's contributions to international law and provides an opportunity for the New Zealand international law community – from the universities, the public service, legal practice and the judiciary – to come together to discuss issues of current interest. It is a forum for information sharing, dialogue and cooperation.
