Formulations for lung disease – presented by Associate Professor Shyamal Das from the School of Pharmacy, University of Otago.
Lung diseases such as COPD, asthma, lung infections including tuberculosis and non-cystic bronchiectasis, and COVID-19 are some of the leading causes of morbidity and death.
One of the key hurdles to develop an efficient treatment for infections with a biologically active molecule is to develop an appropriate formulation and delivery.
In this presentation, I will present how we develop formulations for treating lung diseases.
