To celebrate your arrival, we’re throwing a party packed full of fun, freebies and opportunities. Business subject experts will be there to answer any questions, chat with you about your future direction and check that you’re on the right path. It’s a great chance to make friends with like-minded students, and meet our friendly teaching and support teams.
If you’ve got a side hustle or are interested in entrepreneurship, we strongly encourage you to head to our dedicated founders corner, co‑hosted with Start‑Up Dunedin.
BCom students should also head to the dedicated orientation session on Friday to get set for the next three years:

If you are unable to make either this event or the BCom orientation session, we strongly encourage you to seek course advice from a student adviser. Student advisers are available all year round, including every weekday during Orientation, from 9am–4:30pm in the AskOtago Central Hub.
