Inhaled formulations for respiratory diseases. Presented by Associate Professor Shyamal Das from the School of Pharmacy.
Efficient treatment can reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, bacterial infections such as tuberculosis and viral infections such as COVID-19. Biologically active molecules often cannot give the desired effect clinically due to a lack of appropriate formulations and delivery.
In this presentation, I will show how we develop formulations for respiratory delivery to achieve efficient treatment of the diseases.
