Locals first event of 2018. The dedicated team of locals staff will tell you a little bit about what they study, what they can support you with in your first year, and what their role in the locals programme is. We will give you more information on how locals works, the four aspects of locals and what they can offer you, and our orientation events programme. A staff member from student learning development and schools liaison will introduce you to the services they provide students, and what they can help locals students with.
There will be lots of opportunities for you to meet new people studying the same papers as you. We will also bust some myths about university, answer any questions you have, and take a quick tour of the university campus. We will have sign ups open for the locals teams for the inter-college sports day.
During lunch, and after the event there will a member of the schools liaison team available to answer any questions you might still have about your course.
You will be able to register for locals on the day, so come along even if you have not registered yet.
