Industry 4.0 (aka Industrial IoT) is a subset of IoT that is specially aimed at improving the flexibility, efficiency and reliability of manufacturing. This talk will discuss some of the key requirements to enable Industry 4.0 and the benefits that will ensue both for end users and producers. Two complementary technologies: Data Analytics and Low Power Wide Area Networks will be included as these are key to deepening the value of Industry 4.0 and extending its range beyond the manufacturing process.
