The 8th Service User Academia Symposium will be held at The University of Melbourne, Australia, on 15 and 16 November 2018.
Co-hosted in Melbourne by the University of Otago, Wellington, the theme of the 8th Service User Academia symposium is Nesting our knowledge.
Run annually since 2011, the symposium brings service users together with their counterparts and allies in academia. The broad aim is to explore the challenges of – and opportunities for - creating and maintaining service user leadership and co-production in mental health and addiction scholarship, research, education, programs and policy.
The Service User Academia Symposium welcomes anyone involved with, interested in, or aspiring to create co-produced and/or service user-led projects or programmes in mental health and addiction.
