The Free Gaza Movement: Flotillas challenging the Siege of Gaza 2008-2018

Martin and Lois are retired Christchurch teachers who met and married in Malawi many years ago. T

hey have both always been interested in international justice issues. After visiting Israel and the West Bank in 2009, as alternative tourists, and then again three more times, they have particularly been focused on the situation in Israel and the Occupied Territories.

They are both avid readers. They use every opportunity to share what they have learned and continue to learn by holding public meetings, by writing blogs, by broadcasting interviews on a Christchurch Community Radio Station, and hosting visiting speakers.

For this event, they will be showing slides and quoting from some of the many inspiring humanitarians from USA, several European countries, Malaysia, and Israel who, in spite of great danger, are determined to Free Gaza.
