Join a marine scientist at the NZ Marine Studies Centre at Portobello to find out about marine food webs - who eats what in the ocean.
You will see microscopic plankton, investigate the stomach contents of a squid or shark and enjoy close up viewing of a variety of sea animals in our tanks and touch pools.
The aquarium is no longer open to the general public so this is a unique opportunity to see some of the marine creatures that are kept at the Centre for education programmes.
Recommended for adults and children over 5yrs.
