Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse

This two-hour continuing professional development seminar will explore an area of family violence that is 'almost taboo' in our society, but very real for families and those attempting to offer support and interventions.

This seminar includes exploring the phenomena of adolescent to parent and caregiver violence and abuse; the impacts on different family members; and the responses of professionals and strategies that might be effective in managing and reducing family distress and misery.  There will be time for questions and interactions and collaborative participation and problem solving.
