Irish Film Night

The Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies at the University of Otago is launching its first series of Irish film nights on 7 August 2019. The films will be screened on Wednesday evenings in Burns 7, Arts Building at 5:30pm.

Films have been chosen by University of Otago staff who will introduce their chosen film.

7 August — Inside I’m Dancing, introduced by Professor Barbara Brookes (History)

21 August — Disco Pigs, introduced by Emer Lyons (English)

4 September — Sing Street, introduced by Charlotte Hall (Health Sciences)

18 September — Breakfast on Pluto, introduced by Professor Sonja Tiernan (Irish Studies)

9 October — Brooklyn, introduced by Leanne Ross (Marketing)
