Understanding the role of genetics in metabolic disease risk in Māori and Pacific peoples: The Maurice Wilkins Centre approach
The seminar will discuss evidence emerging from a national collaborative study that has identified new Māori and Pacific specific genetic factors linking to differences in risk for developing a range of metabolic diseases.
The seminar will discuss how this might be used to better guide health care pathways.
