Mishima, Bowie and the Anti-Metaphysics of the Mask

The Languages and Cultures research seminar for Tuesday 22 October is presented by Assoc. Prof. Roy Starrs.  Based on a chapter Roy has contributed to Masks: Bowie and Artists of Artifice (ed. James Curcio, Intellect Books, forthcoming), this talk will explore David Bowie's affinities with one of his favourite writers, the Japanese novelist Yukio Mishima.
