The New Farmers Project

Rural sociologist, Associate Professor Paul Stock, visiting from the University of Kansas, presents The New Farmers Project – an interdisciplinary art and research ethnography of new and emerging farmers in the US Midwest. This collaboration brings together a photographer, rural sociologist, and graphic designer who uniquely combine text, imagery, and design to tell the stories of these farmers in various iterations.

Paul Stock is a rural and environmental sociologist who studies farmers. He is currently on sabbatical in Dunedin from the Sociology and Environmental Studies Program at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, USA.
