"An earthquake that shook the world": Seismicity and society in the late 4th century CE

At the end of January, Classics at Otago will be welcoming delegates from all over the world to attend the Annual Meeting of the Australasian Society for Classical Studies. Three public lectures accompany the conference. The second of the three is "'An earthquake that shook the world': Seismicity and society in the late 4th century CE", presented by Associate Professor Cam Grey, University of Pennsylvania.

This lecture will be preceded by a reception starting at 5:00pm.
