CANCELLED - Conversion Therapy, Human Rights and Religious Freedom

Pádraig Ó Tuama, former leader of Corrymeela, is in Dunedin, 24–26 March, for several public events.

The second is "Conversion Therapy, Human Rights and Religious Freedom", an SCM disucssion workshop facilitated by Pádraig Ó Tuama.

About Pádraig

Pádraig Ó Tuama is an Irish poet and theologian who brings interests in language, violence and religion to his work. From 2009–14, he led the Corrymeela Community, Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation organisation, and he now presents Poetry Unbound with On Being Studios and also has the role of Theologian in Residence for On Being.

Pádraig is visiting New Zealand at the invitation of St John’s Presbyterian Church in the City, Wellington. His week and events in Dunedin are hosted by the Centre for Theology and Public Issues, University of Otago, the Anglican Diocese of Dunedin, and Student Christian Movment Otago.
