The Speed of Modern Life

The projection shows how the Victorians grappled with a world in transition and focuses on the pressures they faced. These pressures included disease, the rise of railways, environmental pollution, mental health issues, and the need to retreat. Many of these stressors are, of course, familiar to us today.
