The event will explore:

  • COVID’s effects on global value chains (as experienced by New Zealand and Chile as South Pacific commodity exporters)
  • Geopolitical tensions that preceded the pandemic
  • A potential future of “slow globalisation”, and
  • New Zealand-Chilean collaboration around trade diversification.
