The in-person UNIO 101 lectures have been cancelled due to the shift to the Red setting of the COVID‑19 Protection Framework. Instead, the written and video resources linked below provide an introduction to university study that you can complete at your own pace.
UNIO 101: University transition and success is a series of five modules, consisting of videos and downloadable worksheets. These modules highlight academic differences between secondary school and university and provide you with advice to support your success and identify successful academic behaviours for you to utilise.
The module themes are expanded in the Blackboard site “UNIO 101: Getting started at Otago” where there is useful information and tips for your academic journey with us at Otago.
These modules can be completed individually, or as part of a group workshop. An additional ‘Information for Facilitators’ document is available to provide guidance and suggestions.
