Connecting to UO_WIFI
UO_WIFI is the University WiFi network. You’ll find it all over campus.

Getting your University email address
All University emails will be sent to your University email address.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
To access some University resources off campus, you will need to set up multi-factor authentication.

eVision
eVision is your student portal, where you will find your timetable, grades and be able to amend your enrolment details.

Blackboard
Blackboard is the web-based learning environment used at the University of Otago.

Office 365 for students
Find out how to use and download the Office 365 apps.

Student desktop
The student desktop is available for you to use wherever you are, and has a lot of course-specific software available.

Zoom
A lot of lectures will be delivered remotely via Zoom. Find out how to download and access it.

Student App
The student app allows you to view timetables, grades, calendar, campus map and weather on your mobile device.

Antivirus
If you are connecting a device to the University network, it will need to have antivirus software.

As a student you have other course-specific software available to you.
