Urban wellbeing and liveability: perspectives from pre-school aged children

Presented by Dr Christina R Ergler

Christina Ergler is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Geography at The University of Otago and driven by a passion for creating just, sustainable and inclusive environments that enhance the quality of life of humans and non-humans.

She traces and endeavours to disrupt social, health, and environmental injustices as they relate to people’s well-being and well-becoming in the minority and majority worlds. In her work, she privileges the voices of marginalised groups to address the systemic structural inequities and broader social and environmental determinants of health/wellbeing/wellbecoming found in the everyday conditions and (on and offline) spaces in which people live, move, work, learn and play.
