Seminar presented by Professor Rachael Taylor from Dept of Medicine, Otago.

Move, eat, sleep, repeat: What's new in child obesity research?

Professor Rachael Taylor is a nutritionist by training who is interested how lifestyle behaviours such as sleep, diet, activity and sedentary time influence our health and wellbeing.

She is currently Head of the Department of Medicine and leads a number of large observational and interventional research projects investigating different approaches to effective weight management in children, ranging from evaluating how infant feeding influences body weight, to determining whether diet or exercise explains the strong link between insufficient sleep and obesity, to novel research improving the measurement of screen time in children.

She will outline some recent research findings and new work under development.
