The 70th annual New Zealand Statistical Association (NZSA) conference will be hosted by the University of Otago at their Dunedin campus in 2019.
The main conference activities will be held from Tuesday 26 November to Thursday 28 November, with a welcome reception on the evening of Monday 25 November. Precise conference starting and ending times will be available once abstract submission closes. At present, delegates should plan for a whole day of conference proceedings on the 26 November, but with an earlier finishing time on the last day the 28 November (i.e. lunchtime or early afternoon).
They comprise keynote presentations, contributed presentations and a formal poster presentation session. A goal of this conference is to celebrate Kiwi statistics in academia and industry, and in particular the rapidly growing body of students studying statistics at Honours level and beyond.
