While we attempt to archive all files captured by the microscopes in the Electron Microscopy unit, it is your reponsibility to back up your files elsewhere. This is important data protection and should be done as a matter of course. Ideally, you should keep at least two copies of all your important data files, including the original data files.
The user-accessible computers in the Electron Microscopy unit are for processing only, not archiving. User files will be periodically purged from these computers.
