The five years of the medical degree between admission and graduation are challenging and demanding, but supported at many levels: through University of Otago services and facilities, from the Medical School, the programme and the Schools and campuses, and by individual staff, peers, and student organisations. Students are encouraged to seek support, which can be collegial or confidential as required.
