This seminar aims to present the current understanding on older adults’ movement behaviours and their implications on health, with focus on cardiometabolic health. Topics covered include:
- brief timeline of research on movement behaviours,
- definitions of movement behaviours,
- characteristics of older adults' movement behaviours, and
- impact of movement behaviours on health outcomes in older adults.
All University of Otago and Southern District Health Board staff and students are welcome to attend.
