Movement behaviours matter! - Implications for older adults' health

This seminar aims to present the current understanding on older adults’ movement behaviours and their implications on health, with focus on cardiometabolic health. Topics covered include:

  • brief timeline of research on movement behaviours,
  • definitions of movement behaviours,
  • characteristics of older adults' movement behaviours, and
  • impact of movement behaviours on health outcomes in older adults.

All University of Otago and Southern District Health Board staff and students are welcome to attend.
