We are the current tenants of this beautiful home, moving on earlier than expected due to buying our own house. This modern, light and warm home is situated on the stunning Otago Peninsula. 15 minutes walk along the flat to Macandrew Bay and 15 minutes scenic drive into town.
It really is an incredible spot.
The house is spacious and well designed. The modern open plan kitchen/dining area can open out onto the sunny deck - making entertaining or just dinner at home feel special. The large utility room with washer, dryer, sink and extra dishwasher make life easy and the lounge area is cosy and relaxing.
The main bathroom is large, with a huge bath tub, 2 sinks and great shower.
The main bedroom has a walk through dressing room and en-suite double rain shower. The double doors open out on to the deck.
There is a second bedroom of a good size, also with excellent storage.
The third bedroom is smaller and would make a great study.
One of the best things about this place is how warm it is. Newly built with full insulation and triple glazed windows you hardly need to use the excellent heating system. Our bills have been half what they have been in previous smaller properties and we have never felt so warm indoors in New Zealand! A real treat.
Outside you have a large and sunny deck with amazing views, a small and easy to maintain garden which is fully fenced. The front has a large driveway (we fit a van and large car easily). The garage is also spacious and means we can keep all the outdoor gear well organised.
We are hoping to move out early Jan but are flexible. Tenancy suits a professional couple best. If you’re interested I’m happy to show you around and then will put you in touch with our landlord.
