Family of four seeks home

Thursday, 13 June 2019

A family of four who have recently relocated to Dunedin from overseas seeks a comfortable, tidy, pet/smoke-free, and warm home to rent on a long-term basis from mid-July onwards. We are homeowners ourselves, so understand how important your property is to you. Ideally, we seek a three- possibly four-bedroom home with a fenced yard and a decent-sized kitchen. We are looking to rent for a minimum of one year but in all likelihood would stay longer; we are budgeting in the $400 to $500/wk range. Being close to public transport and/or the University would be great. If you’re looking for tenants with glowing references who will care for your property, please be in touch!

Self-contained unit sought

Monday, 10 June 2019

Hello, I am a 50-year-old man working in Dunedin who requires accommodation.Specifically a self-contained unit or sleepout. I have an autism diagnosis, which means while I enjoy the company of others I also need a quiet, private space with limited noise hence the need for a place of my own.

An all-inclusive arrangement - furniture included, with a budget of up to around $200/wk. Ideally within walking distance from the Octagon as walking is my main mode of transport. l was living in Elm Row and grew to like the area so somewhere there or thereabouts would be nice, although I am open to somewhere further afield.

I can provide a reference, pass all credit checks and a police check if that is required. Non-smoker and able to pay rent on time. I look forward to hearing from anyone that has something suitable.

Currently, living in a boarding house which is exactly what I don't want.
