Visiting graduate - short-term rental or house sitting

Tuesday, 15 October 2019

I am an Otago graduate (single, non-smoker) looking for a place to live in Dunedin from 11 Jan to 22 Mar 2020 - or any period within that. My minimum needs are that it is fully furnished and equipped, one bedroom, parking (street OK) and sun! House sitting is a possibility, and I am happy to care for a cat. I can also offer some garden care - watering, dead-heading - as long as the garden is not too steep!

Visiting researcher seeking short-term furnished accommodation

Wednesday, 9 October 2019

I’m a researcher from Berlin at the Centre for Sustainability, and staying for one year with my family in Dunedin. I have been living with my wife and two daughters (aged 11 and 17) on the Peninsula since August this year, but have no accommodation for the second half of our stay. For this reason we are looking for a sunny, fully-furnished, three-bedroom home to rent from 18 Jan to the end of Jun 2020. We would like to stay on the Peninsula, but also Waverley or other districts not too far away from Tahuna Intermediate School would be great.

Self-contained accommodation sought

Wednesday, 24 July 2019

Hello, I am a 50-year-old man working in Dunedin who requires accommodation.Specifically a self-contained unit or sleepout. I have an autism diagnosis, which means while I enjoy the company of others I also need a quiet, private space with limited noise hence the need for a place of my own, not to mention past bad experiences with bad flatmates.

An all-inclusive arrangement - furniture included, with a budget of up to around $200-220/wk. Ideally within walking distance from the Octagon as walking is my main mode of transport. l was living in Elm Row and grew to like the area so somewhere there or thereabouts would be nice, although I am open to somewhere further afield.

I can provide a reference, pass all credit checks and a police check if that is required. Non-smoker and able to pay rent on time. I look forward to hearing from anyone that has something suitable.

Currently, living in a boarding house which is exactly what I don't want! It's also in the inner city and above a bar, the noise is never-ending!!

But more than this, I want someone that has actually taken the time to read and understand my ad, BEFORE responding.
