The Dunedin City Council is seeking feedback about parking in the city via its website.

Have your say on parking – the Dunedin City Council (DCC) wants to know what you think.

It is requesting feedback about on-street car parks and parking buildings in the city.

While that does not include parks the University of Otago provides on campus, the issue still affects many staff and students.

"To help us develop different options, we need your feedback on the key issues – what works well and what we can improve."

The DCC says it wants to know what people think about parking in Dunedin “so we can improve the service we provide for our residents and visitors”.

“To help us develop different options, we need your feedback on the key issues – what works well and what we can improve.”

The DCC is asking the public for up to 400 words on parking issues they experience, or opportunities they see for improvements.

Everyone making a submission can also upload a file or an image to support their comments and is asked if they would like to be part of the continuing conversation.

The feedback being sought through the DCC’s website closes on 21 May, at 5pm.

The University is working with the DCC generally on parking and will be making a submission as well, but this is a chance for individuals to have their say.
