Otago's Pacific staff from across centres and divisions recently paid Mīharo Murihiku Polyfest a visit to connect with the Pacific community in Invercargill.

Booths were set up to provide information about each division as well as scholarships and support available for Pacific students.

Manager of the Pacific Islands Centre Tagiilima Feleti says this trip is a good way to expand the University's network and outreach in Southland, to provide role modeling to prospective students and to increase the visibility of the University, its services and its Pacific staff.

He says he looks forward to consolidating the University's relationship with Mīharo Murihiku Polyfest and Southland in the years to come.
