    A study of revolution, focused on China in the twentieth century.

    This course examines in detail the revolutionary transformations that have occurred in China since 1911. The course will also enable students to explore the reasons for the continued conflict over Tibet and Xinjiang, as well as the wider process often referred to as 'the search for modern China'.
