    Overview

    Understanding selected cultures of Asia-Pacific in relation to management practice.

    Management in Asia-Pacific will provide students with a strategic perspective to understand the business environment and management practices in the Asia Pacific region. Students will learn about the economic, technological and political environments, the distinctive characteristics of strategic management, opportunities and risks in managing business, and the sources of competitive advantage of firms in Asia Pacific context but with a particular focus on emerging economies. Students will complete the course with a better understanding of the business environment in Asia Pacific markets and skills to identify market opportunities and analyse a firm's competitive advantage associated with Asia Pacific markets.
