The PBRF and Publications/Outputs Office provides a centralised service that collects and reports on research output information and coordinates the Performance-Based Research Fund (PBRF) Quality Evaluation exercises, the Tertiary Education Commission's formal research performance assessment exercise for tertiary institutions in New Zealand.
As a service unit, our Office supports and assists researchers to showcase their research achievements internally and externally, and provides relevant and timely information for a variety of reporting requirements, such as the University of Otago Annual Report, department reviews, and accreditation. We can provide a variety of citation and statistics reports for use by Divisions, Departments, research groups, and individual staff. We can also advise you on your publications listing on your staff webpage.
For PBRF, we coordinate the six-yearly Quality Evaluation exercise, including managing the MyResearch software (MyResearch Login). MyResearch is the University of Otago staff portal for creating Evidence Portfolios, managing staff webpage publication lists, and viewing the University's most up to date publications.
