The University of Otago PBRF-eligible categories are mapped automatically to the TEC categories, using sub-categories as required to differentiate specific publication/output types.

Verification evidence is required for all publications/outputs recorded in MyResearch. The evidence provided must cohere with the TEC guidelines on the PBRF Quality Evaluation assessment. You can find the 2018 guidelines at the following link:

2018 TEC Guidelines (PDF file, 1.4MB)

Evidence is stored electronically with the records in the University's Central Research Output Database.

As publications/output entries are completed, citations appear in MyResearch and are available for selection into an Evidence Portfolio, so long as the Quality Assured status is specified as either 'Yes' or 'No'. If QA is 'Not Specified' follow the prompts to specify either Yes or No to release the record for EP selection.

If you have any questions please contact the PBRF and Publications Office, pbrf@otago.ac.nz, Ext. 5391.
