Tuition to develop performance skills in a solo instrument or voice, a second instrument or voice, or an approved popular music or world music context.
Approved World Music Options: Taonga Pūoro (traditional Māori instruments), Taiko (Japanese drumming), Koto (Japanese zither) or Scottish piping or drumming.
Vocal Ensemble: Admission is by audition. Students enrolled will be organised into a small vocal ensemble through which they will acquire the skills associated with performing in and directing a small vocal ensemble. This option is ideal for students with prior experience performing in a choral or solo setting. Enrolment will be capped at 12 people. All students enrolled must audition before mid-October of the previous year.
After completing enrolment, Performance Students should email the Office to advise which musical instrument/s they have chosen to study.
