Our School
The School of Pharmacy at the University of Otago is the oldest in the country and prides itself on achieving excellence in pharmaceutical care.

The Role
The School would like to appoint a skilled senior Pharmacist with a background in teaching and assessment of pharmacy practice skills, to assist in the development, successful delivery and creation of a quality reputation for courses in the teaching programmes at the School of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities primarily surround the pharmacy skills component of the teaching curriculum and incorporating contemporary pedagogical approaches of pharmacy skills into the curriculum.

Your Skills and Experience
• Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualification.
• New Zealand Pharmacy Council registration and annual practicing certificate – or working towards achieving this.
• Appropriate professional experience.
• Evidence of an ability to work well with students and staff from differing academic and cultural backgrounds and at all levels of the institution.

Professional Practice Fellow - Hauora Māori Support-1800938 [HR Link]

Our Department
The School of Pharmacy at the University of Otago is the oldest in the country and prides itself on achieving excellence in pharmaceutical care.

The Role
The School would like to appoint a skilled Pharmacist with competence in Te Ao Māori with an emphasis on tikanga to support Hauora Māori development in the School.

You will be passionate about promoting and strengthening Hauora Māori and committed to working with the Health Sciences’ Division’s team to achieve this in Pharmacy.

Your Skills and Experience
• Relative tertiary qualification.
• New Zealand Pharmacy Council registration and annual practicing certificate – or working towards achieving this.
• Competence in Te Ao Māori with an emphasis on tikanga.

This is a part time (hours negotiable), fixed term position for two years.
