Overview

We are a seeking a doctoral student with an interest in pharmacy education to join our team. The student will become part of a multidisciplinary research programme focused on therapeutic decision-making in pharmacy education. We are particularly interested in developing curriculum to optimise the teaching and learning of decision-making skills in undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy education, and developing assessment tools to measure and evaluate student’s decision-making.

The doctoral programme and candidate

We have a number of projects focused on therapeutic decision making in pharmacy education. The successful PhD candidate will learn qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather and analyse data from research participants. These projects would suit a PhD candidate with an education and/ or pharmacy background who has an interest in health professional education.
