Fulbright Awardees from Physics

Kate Turner, Jeremy Lee-Hand and Andrew Pauling are Fulbright Awardees

On 19th of June, the Minister of Science and Innovation, Hon Paul Goldsmith, congratulated all New Zealand graduate students awarded Fulbright scholarships to continue their studies and complete their post-graduate degree at an American university.

Three postgraduate students of the Department are among the awardees: Kate studying sea-ice geophysics, Andrew researching the impact of Antarctic ice sheet collapse on the global climate and Jeremy who will delve into condensed matter physics.

The Department wishes you all a very successful doctoral study in your chosen fields.
