"Industry and Research Careers in Physics, Energy and Electronics: A Panel Discussion"


In this panel discussion, the speakers will outline their career path to their current exciting jobs in industry or research, starting with their undergraduate degrees in physics, energy or electronics.
They will talk about the skills they gained from their degree, as well as from extracurricular activities and summer/temporary jobs.
They will cover the things they enjoy and don't enjoy in their current jobs, as well as starting salaries, workload, and career prospects for new graduates.
The talks will include interactive elements and time for questions and discussion afterwards.
This event is particularly aimed at first-year undergraduate physics, energy, and electronics students, but all interested are welcome to attend.
