General physiotherapy
We carry out individualised assessments that cater for all types of problems and people, and strive to give you a good understanding of the problem so you can get back to the activities you enjoy.
Our assessments will identify the main problem(s) and allow you to work towards your goals, so you can get back to your normal everyday functions as soon as possible. We will keep you informed so that you are able to better manage your condition, and rehabilitate you through activity-based therapy.
Our clinicians have expertise in dealing with conditions such as sprains and strains, back and neck problems, arthritis, and post-operative rehabilitation.

Acupuncture
This time-honoured treatment derives from ancient Chinese medicine and involves the insertion of fine sterile needles into specific body points.
It is now a widely-accepted form of therapy and shown to be effective in the treatment of a variety of pain and stress related symptoms.
Our clinical staff are trained and skilled in a mixture of traditional and western approaches to acupuncture and trigger point needling.

Rehabilitation
After injury, targeted rehabilitation is essential to support your return to work, sport and active everyday life. At the School of Physiotherapy Clinic Christchurch, we are trained to assess your current function and support you to achieve your own activity goals.
In addition to early intervention programmes, we offer clinical treatment, on-site rehabilitation and return-to-work programmes.
We also offer expert advice following injury or illness.
